There is very little South America travel content on World Travel Family travel blog. And that’s for a very good reason, we’ve barely scratched the surface of this continent. We don’t write about places we haven’t been ourselves.

Why haven’t we explored much of South America? I guess it’s because it’s difficult to get to, is relatively expensive, and hasn’t called to us as much as other favourite countries and continents.

The only country we have visited in South America is Peru, and Colombia, very briefly.

We are yet to visit Bolivia, Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Guyana, Paraguay, Suriname, Uraguay and Venezuela.

Central America is part of the continent of North America and in this region, we have visited Mexico, Guatemala and El Salvador.

Our favourite continent to visit has to be Asia.

So while one day, we’d love to visit this part of the world and I still intend to visit every country, it hasn’t happened yet. Watch this space!
