Singapore is an expensive destination, just about as expensive as Australia. We spent the most on a hotel room, anywhere in the world on Sentosa Island Singapore.
Changi Airport is a destination in itself! The Jewel at Changi
Sentosa is the fun-hub of Singapore, This is where you’ll find Universal Studios, the aquarium, and a host of resort hotels in the “Resorts World” complex.
You don’t have to stay on Sentosa, you can stay anywhere, it will be cheaper, but for a special stay on Christmas, we chose Sentosa. It was a lot of fun. Expensive fun!
Singapore is one of very few places we can fly direct from our nearest airport today, Cairns Airport, so we pass through Singapore Chiangi Airport regularly. It’s an amazing place, if you have any time at all between flights, you must see ‘The Jewel” at Chiangi.
